I hope you enjoy the pictures of my horse BC Beach.  He is a Standardbred.  I adopted him from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation in New Jersey.  (He was unsuccessful as a harness race horse and was sent to the SRF for adoption as a pleasure horse.)  I have spent the last 2 1/2 years saddle training him as a trail horse and this year I hope to begin to pleasure drive him too!  Please visit the SPHO site to learn more about this GREAT breed! I enjoy pleasure riding and driving with him, as well as competing in CTR rides.  (I'm hoping to try a CTR drive this year too!)
 
• I also like playing ice hockey, cross country skiing, biking and hiking, but if the weather and footing is safe you can usually find me out riding!
